Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Voices By Fred — the professional voice-acting portfolio and booking site of Frederick B French III ("we", "us", or "our"). By using this Site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

Voices By Fred provides professional voice acting services, including but not limited to commercial voiceover, narration, animation and character work, video game voiceover, e-learning, and corporate recordings. Service details, scope, and delivery format are agreed upon per project before work begins.

2. Booking & Payment

• Quotes — Project quotes are provided individually based on scope, usage, and turnaround time. A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
• Payment terms — Payment terms are agreed upon before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon delivery of the final recordings.
• Revisions — Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions for direction changes or performance adjustments. Revisions requested due to script changes after recording may incur additional fees.

3. Intellectual Property

• Client ownership — Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns the final delivered recordings for the usage agreed upon in the project quote.
• Portfolio use — We retain the right to use delivered recordings in our portfolio, demo reel, and promotional materials unless a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or confidentiality clause is agreed upon before work begins.
• Raw files & sessions — Unedited session files, outtakes, and project files remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Cancellation Policy

If a booked project is cancelled by the client before recording begins, no fee is charged. If cancellation occurs after recording has started, the client is responsible for payment for work completed up to the point of cancellation. Rescheduling is accommodated whenever possible with reasonable notice.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or missed deadlines caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved in the courts of Colorado.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Site or engagement of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
